Breed: pegasus

Special Abilities: she can fly, other than that, no special abilities or anything. However, she seems to have the need to hunt once in a while for reasons noone, not even her, know.


Background: Vrolok was a normal baby pony. Noone sensed anything different about her when she was growing up. Until, that was, her 14th birthday. She was playing in a field with her siblings when she found a rabbit. It jumped out just under her nose. Just for fun, she decided to chase it. What young pony wouldn't? Just as she caught up to it, however, she pounced on it. Something came over her and she bit it. Disgusted by what she was doing, but unable to stop, she yelled and tore the rabbit up, eating it as her twin brother and cousins came running to see what was happening. Outraged that she would do something this terrible, her twin brother, Sunray, outcast Vrolok. Whether the decision was based on the recent death of the older (light) ponies, including their parents, or just the fact that as Vrolok turned to look at the rest of the family, she had fangs growing out of her mouth and her eyes seemed to glow. In either case, Vrolok has been on her own for the last 4 years now, just doing what she can to make it through. She goes on a "hunt" about once a month and doesn't even know why she does it. She can and will eat normally, and there is no warning when she will go into one of her "bloodthirsty" moods. SHe's terribly shy around other ponies, mainly because she is afraid that she may attack someone if she gets too close to them.

Vrolok and Sunray are the children of the G1 rainbow pegasus Skydancer and Quarterback

Since the MODs like to know what the members are planning with their characters, so we can make sure it isn't going to contradict already planned events or past history, I'm going to ask some questions about Vrolok.

So, basically you've created a G1 that's kinda like a vampire, yes? That's okay we have one or two of those. Maybe it's a side affect of the Great Death. Just want to make sure that that's all there is to this.

If you have any plans that you don't want other members to know about, feel free to e-mail me and we can discuss them. However, our members are really good about keeping in-play information from becoming known to the characters when they're not supposed to know about it.

I love her color design. Age....well it all depends. Here's the explination:

So if you want her to be related to a Pony of light, then raise her age by a year, if not, then her age is fine. But since you've mentioned her parents as dying during the GD, then I'd suggest raising her age by one year. This shouldn't be too big a problem, right? Also you say her "family" comes to see what she's done, do you mean her cousins and siblings? Any pony of light would've died in the Great Death. SO you may want to explain what you mean by "family".

One last thing, Will you be wanting her to have any special abilities in the future? Does eating the flesh and blood of a creature do anything for her? Or is it just an urge she has? If you decide that you want her to have some sort of special ability, either post it now and you can introduce it as you RP her , or if the other MODs are okay with it....re-post her character sheet when you decide to give her a power/ability (BEFORE you RP it.)

So there you go, let me know your thoughts and decisions and I'll approve, then you'll just need one more.

ok, changed age and modified the family. as far as i know at this moment, i don't think i want her to have any special powers. i just came up with her concept on the spur of the moment, lol, and i think i want her to be... well.... not so special. maybe i will develope her twin brother someday, maybe he got all the power and she got the drawback from it. hmm.... i kinda like the sound of that. would that make it so their lives are intertwined, one gets hurt, the other feels it? maybe. that would be up to you mods, of course. glad you like the concept. i had a lot of fun making the pic from a color page. i've been learning photoshop by using color page pics i've scanned in.


as far as plans for her.... i dunno. her goal right now is to survive and to learn why she has the urges to eat critters. give me a couple of days and i will make up her twin brother. i don't know if i want to play him anytime soon, but if i get him made up and approved, i can always pm a mod and let them know what is going on? i know that is how i did it when i ran my message board game.

Hey, Vrolok! Very cute char, I like her . Jennifer asked some pertinent questions there, and with your modifications I have nothing to object.

I'll just point out one more time, if you wanna give her some other powers or abilities as you go playing her, just submit her updated profile for a new review process. We can update our chars as we go playing them, not only about their powers and skills, sometimes about their histories or some characteristic. Basically you just have to submit the char's profile pointing out what you'd like to change/add, and two mods will check it and give you an approval too

It's perfectly okay that you wanna start with Vrolok as she is now! Believe it or not, I can see that she already has some interesting thingies about her, and I foresee some cool rping Almost feel tempted to interact with her. Unfortunately I'm a little out of chars for now , but if you want some help trying to find a thread to play in, let us know!

Oh! Just one more thing!

Just in case you still wanna give her some canon G1 parents, you can check the List of approved G1 descendants . Those are all the canon G1s who have an approved "descendant" in EoD. I keep that list updated. So if you wanna pick one, just check the list (the canon G1s are in alphabetical order). If a member already has that G1 as parent or grandparent of a char, you can contact that member and see if you can work things out (most histories are pretty open, I think, with only a few exceptions ). So anyway! Hmm...if you pick some canon G1s as parents for her, I'll take another look, but as it is now, I give you my approval.

Looks great! So with my approval she's ready for play. Hmmm...as for where...I'm not sure. What kind of situation or level of action do you want? Would you like her to talk a lot and have lots of history/background development? Or do you want more action? That will help me to figure out a good place or three to suggest.

well, for now, i think i want to start out with character development rp. action is fun, but i think i want to get used to playing her. i want to work out her quirks and personality a bit. so, any rp that will help with that would be great.

And it's cool that you wanna start with character development, most of us barely start knowing our chars when we rp them. Up until now I've only figured out four of my chars, there are two whose personalities I still don't know completely.

heh, i didn't think of that at all......lol, it is a cool name, but i've named him sunray. i'll keep it in mind, though.... maybe he just goes by sunray for some reason. i think i will eventually develope him, i have a couple of ideas, but one charactor at a time

i've run into players making charactors, then not developing them at all.... especially those players who play them as invincible...... one of the worse things a mod can come across in a player.... oh, well, they're everywhere, i guess

Hey! Cool character! Hehe, I was looking around the board myself, trying to find a good place for my own new character, Ressa (just submitted). Anyways, I couldn't really find any threads I thought were "perfect" so how about a new one? That way we'd both get a place to go. Hehe, hopefully I won't have too hard a time getting her approved. I have a feeling I'll have to limit her abilities a little more.

Aaanyways, I think it'll be really interesting to RP a sensitive pony like Ressa with a nice dark creature like Vrolok. ^__^ What do ya say?
