Small, with the typical body structure of a Unicorn. A black body base, violet eyes, typically seen with a blissfully ignorant smile on. Still rather youngish, she retains a bit of her babyish looks, with wide, innocent eyes, and a tiny bit of baby fat. All together makes for a rather, cute, beautiful looking pony. The main color of her mane and tail is white, with a dark purple streak the same color as her eyes in both the mane and tail. Her mane is cut somewhat short so as to not hinder her movement, and has a bit of a wavy tendency to it. her tail, however, is allowed to grow long, but she cuts it just short of touching the ground, so as to keep dirt from marring the white strands. Her symbol consists of several tiny white stars, clustered randomly on her rump with a slight trail down the outside leg, though not enough of one to be considered fancy. The white contrasts strongly with the black, making the tiny stars seem to glow.

Family/Brief History:
Her grandmother was Moondancer, but Twinkle Trick is blissfully ignorant of this fact.
The only family she's ever known was her mother. (Who shall be unnamed, because if I name her, people won't be able to use that name later on and such and it'll be a big mess. D= Let's just call her Mom.)
Her mother was a dreamer tied down too young in life, bogged with the harsh life that most had come to know all their lives with the dissapearence of Megan. She regretted the losses of all her dreams, and was unhappy to recognize the same dreamer qualities in her own daughter. As such, she resolved that her daughter would live out her dreams for the both of them, and worked hard to keep harsh truths from Twink. They were a resonably rich family, Twink never really found herself wanting of anything, except an adventure of some sort.
Her mother told her that her father had gone on a journey when she was a baby, Twink always asked when he was coming back, her mother would always reply 'I don't know, honey.' As such, Twink grew up without any major father figure, and was quite a wild child, despite Mom's attempts to control her. Eventually, her mother just gave up. Twink's favorite childhood passtime was pretending to go on an adventure, and she'd always stray all about, occasionally getting lost. Her mother told her many fanciful stories of the 'Before Time', filled with wonderous tales of Megan, the flutter ponies, Ogg, Moochick, the Rainbow of Light, all sorts of wild adventures in which good triumphed over evil.
Twink grew up with a strong will, a sense of adventure, a wild imagination, and a desire to 'do'.
On her fourteenth birthday, Twink and her Mother went out on a picnic, up at the top of a waterfall. Twink wanted to swim, and considered herself quite a good swimmer, though she was much too weak to try anything except a lazy river. Her mother forbade her to go in the water, but Twink, being headstrong, didn't listen, and while her mother was out picking berries, dove in, and attempted to try the current. Unfortunately, the water was far too strong, and she quickly tired and was swept towards the falls. She managed to cling to an overhanging branch, and call for help. Her mother heard her, and came charging to the rescue. Mom dove in, took Twink on her back, and attempted to swim her to shore. Mom wasn't as good a swimmer as Twink, and tired even faster. She managed to get her only daughter up on the bank to safety, but didn't have enough energy left to save herself. Twink watched with horrified eyes, too weak to help, as her mother was swept over the waterfall. She blacked out, and woke much later, when the sun was just beginning to set and dusk was upon them. Weakened, she forced herself to her feet and clambered down the rocky path to the bottom of the waterfall, frantically calling for her mother. She searched all night. When the first light of dawn was beginning to show, Twink found the body of her mother, washed on a pebbly shore a little ways down, when the water calmed slightly. It was far too late to save her, and had always been, her mother had recieved a sharp blow to the head from a rock at the bottom of the waterfall, and had been instantly killed. Twink spent the day mourning over her mother's body, not knowing what to do, but fortunately was found by a family friend, whom had organized a search party for the two. The friend took Twink to her house and got her cleaned up, and organized the funeral. Twink wenk to bed and refused to get up for the waking, but did manage to go to the funeral.
She was taken in by the family, having no other relatives of her own (she insisted her dad would take care of her, the family merely said he was too far away to find), and they cared for her. She spent the year in a state of depression, hardly eating, spending most of her time sleeping.
Her mother had written a will, everything went to Twink, to be watched after until Twink's eighteenth birthday. (approximately 20 years in human time, I think).
Twink went back to the house, and found the old storybooks her mother used to read to her. She remembered all the dreams she'd had, and came to the realization that mourning wasn't going to do anything. Borne with a new resolve, she decided she would go to Flutter Valley and see the beautiful Flutter Ponies that her mother had always told her about. After that, she resolved to begin searching for her unknown father. She needed to find him, and tell him of mother's death, of course. And then it would be happily ever after and she'd live with her father and he'd welcome her with loving arms... The fairytales said so. Forcing any doubts she had into the back of her mind, she packed lodestones, food, and some other survival items into a pack (like Lickedy Split!), put on her set of purple legwarmers, wrote a note explaining what she was doing to the family that had taken her in and left it on the kitchen table, and left in the dead of night, approximately a week after her fifteenth birthday.
She set out on the road to Flutter Valley, planning on stopping and talking to the Moochick on the way to get help (I mean, of course he must be still alive! And that Rainbow would be useful...). She doesn't know that meanwhile, back in the populated part of Dream Valley, the family is frantic with worry, as is anyone else who knows her story (it got into the newspaper, as did her runaway), and a price has been put on finding her and returning her safely to the family, alive.
Special Abilities:
Twink has an affinity for winking, as all unicorns do, but she's a tad bit better at it than most. This comes from her relation to Moondancer, a Pony who had quite a good winking ability back in BD. She can wink a tad bit farther and faster than the average Unicorn does.
Twink is a rather atheletic pony, her mother taught her how to dance, and she kept up rigerous training until her mother's death.
She was quite a strong swimmer for her age, though now she has a mortal fear of deep or running water since her mother's death, even to the point of refusing baths unless they are quite shallow.
This unicorn has rather fantastic jumping abilities, and is a speedy runner. She can scale mountains and rocks and such with a little less talent than a mountain goat, favoring their style of bounding up in a series of leaps and hops. She has a large amount of endurance, and can keep up a fast pace for a long time.
She doesn't know this very well, but occasionally she can make her cutie mark and horn glow in the dark.

I dunno. I was sorta planning on her eventually finding him. =O I'm hoping that midway on her adventure she'll get sidetracked by a BIGGER adventure and keep her father in mind, but travel all over and do adventuresome stuff. As for ever finding him, I thought I'd just have her think on him ICly all the time and put finding him on hiatus until someone showed up willing to RP as him. I was considering making him a pony of the Volcano Order or one of the clan ponies from the Twilight Islands, but that would by mixed up, so that's on hiatus too.

Considering that no pony of darkness could have been born before the year 9 BD, that gives you...that Twink's mother, being a pony of darkness, couldn't have been older than 11 when she got pregnant (or 11 and a few months). Considering our pony. vs. human years scale, I think that would have been more or less like a 13 year old human. Biologically possible but...hmm...well you get the picture.
