Characteristics : A double character person. Sometimes quiet, sometimes has lots to say. Sometimes strict, sometimes humorous. Protector of the innocent & punisher of evil. Saviour & destroyer. He believes in true justice & balance, punctuality & completeness. He wears a green hood with a vertical slit, made from dried tree bark & painted with plant dye. The hood covers his entire face except his mouth & the tip of his horn.

Special Abilities : His magic allows him to generate electrical forces at the tip of his horn to create a 'ball lightning' which can be shot at enemies. He needs to aim his horn properly at targets before firing. The 'ball lightning' is green in colour & about the size of a baseball. It lacks the heat & brightness of lightning, but packs a powerful physical force. Anybody unlucky enough to be hit by one will feel as if he/she was punched by Muhammad Ali. They'll be stunned (if not knocked out). After impact the 'ball lightning' will disintegrate. Limit 10 shots 1 day. There is a 30-second pause when he charges his magic before firing each shot. He needs at least 2 1/2 hours to gain back the energy lost for each shot. If his 10 shots are used up, he'll need to rest for 24 hours to fully recharge.

Family/History : A long time ago, Extonare lived in Paradise Estate with his mother (Green River) & father (Grey Bolt). Then Silver Dream's forces attacked. His parents were killed, but Extonare managed to escape.

Weaknesses : Creating 'ball lightnings' uses up his magic energy.

Here are some things you'll need to work out in order to play this character.

Age...
He needs to be at least 18 synchronize with the G1 storyline. 17 years ago, their would not have been anyone old enough to give birth to him as all the adults were wiped out 18 years ago.

Powers...
How can he throw it? How accurate is it? How many times a day can he do this? What are the limitations of this power?

History...
No.
It is very unlikely... make that so unlikely that it is inches away from impossible for him have tried any attack on Dream Castle and lived longer than say a month afterwards.

The number of Silver Dream's forces are enough to fill a town. Plus she has many Shadow Walkers (who are assassins that can be "one" with shadows), magic users, spies... you name it. Chances are he would have been blasted into space moments after his first aggressive move.

Silver Dream is also seen as the "good guy" to the normal population, he would be more than just wanted... he would be continuously hunted even by simple townsfolk.

If you want him to be a "freedom Fighter" why not have him go up against the powerful Slave Masters? We do have those. They enslave orphaned children and young mares... putting the foals into slave labor and the mares... well you figure it out. mlpeod/wink.gif

Heya GL, This guy sounds pretty interesting. I have to agree with Sider though. However I don't think the edits are too severe.

I was wondering if you had any idea where you'd like to play him? This may help us and you fine tune him to make him ready for play. When I'm creating my characters I usually have a place to RP them in mind before hand.

Where are these Slave Masters?

That's like asking, where are the bandits, murders etc..

They don't exist in any one permanent spot but they are out there. Really, all you would need to do is make some NPC's and play them (would be easiest if you're planning on killing them) or have someone else play them so you can interact with them better.

I have played a few NPC's where I knew that they were expendable so it didn't bother me when they kicked the bucket. I would talk to some of the people you're Rping with and see if you can make arrangements.

Since you're dealing with NPC's that are slave masters, you can have them appear in any location that is somewhat shady. Flutter's Pass ( the village) or Arcadia's Gate would be good places for them to hang out. They could also just be randomly traveling through Dream Valley as well.

Okay then, I'll put Extonare (somewhere) in Dream Valley. I need to add some extra important changes to his status 1st, okay? & 1 more thing, is Paradise Estate really destroyed? In a procession of multiple shots, How much time is there inbetween each shot?
1 second? 10 seconds? 1 minute? more??

That would mean he could shoot 30 of these things in half a minute.
I don't see that working well.

How about 30 seconds to a minute to recharge (the longer he recharges the stronger it'll be but still staying within the boundaries that you said.) This way he could have variety and control over how strong each blast is.

You mean like Megaman's charge blast? Okay, sounds good. 30 between shots.

30 seconds will work for me, though I want you to have an idea of how long (game time) 30 seconds is.

When you're posting, 30 seconds seems like it could go by with the blink of an eye which is not so.

Once he fire's a shot, everyone that is in the vicinity needs to have time to react because 30 seconds in between each shot would give time to react. Every character that is in the area will need to post before you can have him fire another shot. The above info also needs to be recorded on your character's profile. I would suggest typing it in italics.
