Hi, Katie! Look, I'm so sorry that it's taken us mods so long to work this out. The mods, to be honest, have been dealing with a lot lately (like, in real life) and we've been slow to come to agreements. This species is approved and there were just a couple of things we still wanted to work in.

One thing the mods did agree on some time ago, after exchanging our views, was that the pillar of the ASPs must be Molly, no new pillars for them. Believe me, we talked about it and decided it's for the best that the ASPs are ponies of darkness too. And thus, their civilization suffered the Great Death too. I'm saying it now coz I just went over this whole document and the comments we made, and I realized that we forgot to point this out. Apologies for that, but we did come to the conclusion that it would be the best. So please, just keep in mind that the ASPs are just like the ponies of darkness in the mainland: they're pillared by Molly, and have two generations of Ponies of darkness currently alive. No ASP right now can be older than Justice (27 years old). Their base color (for the great majority of them) can't be light colored. Perhaps a dark shade of gray? I don't think this is really a big deal with the way they've organized their culture, but just remember the Great Death was a significative fact in Ponyland and the ASPs must have experienced it too.

So when it comes to Elders, I can give you a suggestion (note: this is just a suggestion, you don't necessarily have to keep it that way, but you might like the idea mlpeod/wink.gif

) Not all ponies were the same age, and all throughout the mainland, in different places and areas, when the Great Death came, some of the oldest ponies (9 years old ones) tried to take care of the younger ones. Different things happened in different places. In some areas, the older ones just didn't care about the babies and merely abandoned them, since they were already having a hard time trying to survive themselves. In other areas, some sorts of "older siblings" organized shelters to care for the most defenseless ones. Given the hierarchical organization of the ASPs (and the fact that they were well organized anyway, age being an important factor to determine who it is that rules), I would think that they went for the second approach: the oldest living ASP was declared the "Elder", and the other older ones became tribe leaders. So currently they still have their age based organization, with an Elder and tribe leaders, only they're not as old as they used to be before GD ^^ .

It does sound like a good idea; but I'm afraid I'll have to mess around with the history more. :x I can do that, but might I put foreward a suggestion first?

The Great Death was caused when Megan died. But what if the ASPs were never hosted by Megan? Say they were hosted by Molly originally, too, so TGD never happened?

The idea of them being original to Molly is a good idea. I'll nudge the MODs to see what they think. Here's what I was going to say:

I would take out 'white' since this is a restricted color. The mention of a RARE white ASP is enough. We don't want future members to be confused.

Since you did mention you wanted to keep this rare, then there should be one, and only one, rare white type. Seeing as "blue eyes" and "white body" are described separately, why not just make a note of this doubly rare ASP as part of the history section, and say that he's been the only one? I also remember there being some sort of description that the 'base color' of an ASP was white. If so, could we have that changed to grey?

White can be kept strictly on a rare basis. *goes to change*

Not that I know of... other than the MODs say that the ASPs must follow the normal poniy of darkness rules, that being that they are normal creations of Molly, and therefore the adults would have died along with the other ponies of light.

Since you seem to have fixed that (with the whole brother and uncle history) I think you're fine. There shouldn't be any other issues.
